Sessions are 50 minutes long and preferably scheduled on a regular time every week. The frequency and consistency of our appointments creates a necessary flow for the psychotherapy process to evolve.
However, some of my patients have different needs and prefer to work on more specific issues for a short period of time. This is also possible, using other techniques like Cognitive-Behavior Therapy and Short-Term Therapy where sessions can be schedule in a different frequency.
Couples and parental guidance sessions vary from 50 to 75 minutes and frequency depends on the issues you and your partner bring, as well as your ability to work on your own between sessions.
In our first appointment, we will discuss what might be the best treatment option for you considering the specifics of what brings you in.
